since coming home from vacation yesterday, I don't see any seeds/peers? I can't download/seed anything - is it just me? :afr2:

        Must be you only …

How long were your vacations, more than a few months?
Are you using a proxy or VPN and did you pay it?
Is there a error message from the tracker?
        Does it concern all files?

          Hi everybody,
I'm experiencing the same problem. Suddenly my torrents became red (0 peers and 0 seeds), this happened only with files downloaded from gaytorrent.ru.
If help I am an Utorrent user and I didn't move any file.
What can I do to solve this problem?
          Tx

If you're using uTorrent 3.2.x you need to downgrade it to 3.1.x

I have the same problem with BitTorrent 7.7 (it looks like the exact same platform as uTorrent) Does anyone know how far down I have to walk it back?

EDIT: I installed BitTorrent 7.2, and it made no difference. Also the Vuze (azurus) client, AND uTorrent clients… All three show gtru (and ONLY gtru) trackers as "offline". I've been fiddling with this for almost 2 weeks now. The only solution I've found so far is to just use other, lesser sites.  😞

You've completed the download of at least 1 torrent all the last 4 days. This means you must have had connections to the tracker to get the peer IPs …

Can you give the exact wording of the tracker error message (it is in the lower µTorrent window under the tracker tab, behind the tracker announce URL).

A particularity of our tracker is that the "Scrape" function is switched off. That generates a corresponding message on all Stopped or Queued torrents "Scrape not supported", which simply means the tracker does not send peer IP information on those.

However, while in that case µTorrent/BitTorrent starts torrents after a while to get peer information, Vuze/Azureus doesn't with it's out of the box setting. Vuze users may try these settinge:

Tools > Options > Queue -> Seeding  > First Priority > A share ratio under [1:1], set the rest to ignore and uncheck Torrents with 0 Peers

                    and

Tools > Options > Queue > Seeding > Ignore Rules > uncheck Ignore torrents with 0 peers

Hmm…  In the "Trackers" tab, I see the url for the tracker/announce.  Just to the right of that is the "Status" column, and the message is:  "offline (timed out)"

Then it's counting down from a half-hour, looks like... As soon as it gets to zero, the status is "updating", then back to offline again.  😕

Please compare the tracker announce URL you see in the torrent client programme (µTorrent, BitTorrent, Vuze/Azureus, …) with the one you see in your Profile if you click on your name in "Welcome back, ..." below the blue menu band

                        It should look like:

                        http://tracker.gaytorrent.ru:2710/YourSecretePersonalPasskey/announce

Where "YourSecretePersonalPasskey" is a long series of numbers and letters, which you must not publish here ore elsewhere.

Your torrent client programme either doesn't connect to the tracker or doesn't get a message back. So the first step is to assure the URL is a correct one.

                        –----

If you use µTorrent/BitTorrent, can you check the connectivity please:

Options > Setup Guide ... > check the "Network" box and run the test. What is the result? Green, orange or red?
