I get the same thing, I think it is not our ACCOUNTS.  But rather it doesn't like the current build of utorrent.  Haven't been able to continue my downloads since the latest upgrade.  Hope it gets fixed soon.  :blownose:

Edit: Yep, just downgraded to 3.2.1 and everything works again.

          Hi,
I updated uTorrent today and now tracker says: "Failure: Dude, this client is banned in our tracker". Why?

I wish they could explain in plain english why trackers prefer older builds.

The higher powers haven't yet informed the moderation team about the reason to ban that version or built of µTorrent.

Basically there are two possible reasons to ban a torrent client:

a/ Wrong upoad/download updates sent to the tracker > would look like ratio cheating
b/ Issues with the user's privacy

My assumption: beta builds of µTorrent have been banned due to ratio reporting issues in the recent past with them.

I'm using uTorrent 1.6.4 for Mac OSX. Looks like is behaving even better now.
                  I'm uploading at almost 400k/s now. 🙂

just downgrade to the latest stable release (ie no alpha, beta or RC) and it should work - the most obvious reason I can think of not allowing beta versions is because they are beta and not everything is ironed out and works correctly yet.
