Eric Videos updates

I wish that site would still be updated here; what happened?

It's not anything from us, just that no one has been uploading them here.

Hi,
Has anybody got any news update on Eric Videos? None of the new stuff is coming up now. When I asked before it seemed that they only allow viewing via streaming from their site and no longer offer download, Is that true? So I assume as there has been such a lack of the new stuff for the past 5 months that nobody has been able to capture the streaming to be able to post :cry2: -
There are always ways in which to be able to download videos and such from a streaming website. It's just a matter of having the right tools for the job. That being said, if I had the access credentials to be able to login to the site to stream the content, I could rip the content from the streams quite easily. I've got all the tools and resources to do such things. There is no such thing as DRM in my world. That includes copying of materials that supposedly "cannot" be copied.
If you have such credentials or have access to them, I could possibly hook you up with either with the uploads, or the tools in which to rip the videos to upload them.

One thing to be careful of. There has been talk that, on sites that actually do allow downloading, the websites are using invisible watermarking to add the user's login name embedded into the video. Then, if they see a copy of that video on a torrent site, they know exactly who to go after with a lawsuit. If your login name is watermarked on a video, it'd be pretty tough to explain how that particular video got out into a public arena.

That's good to know. That's a technology item that would be worth doing some more research on to see if it's possible to throw off such places by modifying or removing it.
