Issue with playing a movie
-
I recently finished downloading Billy Bear's Birthday Bash and when I went to play it, I only got the audio from it. The video players I've tried either a) only give me the audio or b) tell me that this type of file isn't supported. The file type is .mpg so I assumed it would work. Not sure what the exact problem is with me or with the torrent. Any help would be appreciated.
Anyways, that's the only problem I've had with this site so far! Its great what you guys have here and I really appreciate it!

Just to be sure, you mean the 3.12 GB file and not the 1.05 GB, right?
-
Yup the 3 GB file.

That mpg programme stream contains MPEG-2 video and PCM sound, it plays well.
I'd assume you haven't installed a DVD Video (= MPEG-2) codec on your computer.
My recommendation for Windows users is the CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack), which is a small free and open source software package.
It is up to you if you choose to install the MPC-HC (Media Player Classic - Home Cinema) which is in the package or only the codecs and media splitter.
