Why can't I get over him?
-
Ugh. I got another stupid, automated email from Facebook that my ex wants to be 'Friends'. The kicker is- he's sending it to everyone in his address book. He really has no interest in me at all anymore. The worst part is, it shows his profile picture, and he's smiling, and looking handsome and available, and it's tearing me up inside!!! I want to email him directly and say, "Delete my email from your contact list!", but that's the last, little link, and once it's gone… it's gone.
sigh

Stop torturing yourself and put an end to it, once and for all.
The relationship is over, so move on. You'll be so much happier once you do.

You're right. You're right. You're right. I've just never been good at making my heart listen to my head…

I know first hand how hard that situation can be. Granted I don't know the circumstances of how everything went down, but I would seem to think that it ended for a reason. The one thing I will say is that sometimes going back can do more damage in the end than letting it go. I unfortunately had to learn this lesson by having given my ex-husband a second chance.
As hard as it may be to do, in most cases, it's often best.

All it takes is time. There are many other pricks and assholes out there–hopefully you'll find a keeper with both.

I couldn't agree more. I've often said that men are like roses…. Watch out for the pricks!

And don't forget, we're all full of shit…

I thought that was a politician. Always full of the same thing, and needing to be changed frequently.
