Can someone teach me how to generate those grids full of screenshots from a video. When I've uploaded torrents in the past I've had to take screenshots manually and piece them together in Photoshop, (Effort!).

      Many thanks.

If you use Media Player Classic, it will also generate thumbnails and screenshots. Under 'File' choose either 'Save Image' or 'Save Thumbnails'.

This may not have to apply per say to the users who run Windows 7. Within Windows 7 there is a feature called "Snipping Tool", often referred to as "Snip It". If you pause the video on any given spot where you want a screen shot, this lovely tool may be your best friend.

Generally, you can find this tool in Windows 7 under:
Start > All Programs > Accessories > Snipping Tool

If you wish to speed the process up using this tool, you can also pin it to your task bar for easier use by right clicking on Snipping Tool from your Start Menu, then clicking "Pin to Task Bar".

Thanks for the tip about the snip!

I always use MPC for screenshots and thumbnails, but there have been times that I wanted a screen capture from one of my windows, not a video, and I never knew how to do it!

It's one of the more not as well known functions within Windows 7. None of the ads seem to advertise it, but I use it for like… EVERYTYHING lol
