Or How to Use Handbrake.Handbrake is ridiculously well known amongst Mac users, it's free and open source.
It does exactly the same thing as the app posted above, minus a couple non-important "features" e.g. "Effects".
Documentation for Handbrake is found on their site.
Pretty straightforward.
