Vanderburgh County Sheriff Dave Wedding in Evansville, Indiana said,
"I'm tired of seeing fires set in our streets."
And that by the way is not a peaceful protest, period. It's an insurrection. It is what it is. Call it whatever you want, won't matter, cuz we know what it is. They even try to set fire to buildings while people are trapped inside. It's attempted murder - not "peaceful" in any way whatsoever. The audacity of people saying it's racist to call it a riot are pathetic.
