Uploaded torrents allways seed to ratio 1.0 and completely stop?
-
Does anyone else have this issue or know a reason for the problem?
as soon as the upload ratio is 1.0 all seeding seems to stop. its not my settings in my torrent program. it is set to unlimited.

You didn't give a lot of information or even say what your torrent software is, so it's difficult to give specific advice.
It is likely either a coincidence that you were the only seeder for a single downloader for a particular torrent or a few torrents or else it is your torrent program settings affecting all torrents.
Does it happen with every single torrent or only occasionally with some torrents?
Does it happen with popular torrents when there are dozens and dozens of downloaders or only with less active torrents that have only a couple of seeders and an occasional downloader?
Torrent software can have multiple settings that would cause that. You might have a universal or global setting that governs the ratio for all torrents as well as another setting for each individual torrent that defaults to the global setting or can be customized to a particular ratio. So you need to check for both global and individual settings in your software. You might have looked at one but not the other.
There might be some other factors. For instance, if you remove and then re-add a torrent to your torrent software or change torrent software, or similar, the ratio is affected.

Sorry to chime in so late… I just noticed this thread now.
What you describe is the #1 sign that you do not have the correct port forwarding settings on your network. You need to make sure that the port your torrent client uses to connect is forwarded through your home router and/or VPN to your computer, both in TCP, and in UDP. This is a critical, yet often overlooked step, necessary to get proper upload traffic with our tracker.

You should check the seeding settings in your torrent client. Most have a predefined maximum seeding ratio after which, seeding will stop. You can change the default value to seed regardless of ratio if you want, at least in most popular clients.
