Dyson, but I won't buy them again.    The quality has dropped since they moved the factory to China and started using much lower quality plastics, while constantly increasing the price.

I have a cheap bagless Hoover.

It has worked so far for my needs.

I have a Dyson. I can't compare it to the ones made before they moved to China but it's pretty good. It was expensive though.

I've had the Dyson regular stand-up model for a few years, but the attachments weren't long or strong enough to reach all the way under my bed, which is against the wall on two sides.

Very recently I solved the problem with the Dyson Cyclone Animal, designed for the hardest-to-reach places.  This long, cordless vacuum is in a category called "Sticks."  It swivels so that you can lower the vacuum virtually level to the ground and get about eight feet under your problem areas.  It also has a ceiling attachment, and a few more that I have yet to consider.

With this low-swivel ability comes the drawback of a smaller canister that needs emptying more frequently, but I am cleaning in places I could never reach before.  The two Dysons together (yes, pricey) should handle any need in your house/apartment.
