Donald Trump’s Ignorance Is Becoming a National Crisis
-
Health-care policy, Donald Trump has admitted, is more complex than he once assumed. “Nobody knew that health care could be so complicated,” he said in February as he struggled to cobble together a plan to repeal and replace Obamacare. Still, he was optimistic about his chances. “Costs will come down, and I think the health care will go up very, very substantially,” he told insurance company executives, explaining that the current system was a “disaster” that would only get worse. “I think people are gonna like it a lot. We’ve taken the best of everything we can take.” In an interview in May, shortly after the House passed a bill that would cause an estimated 23 million people to drop or lose their insurance coverage, Trump boasted that he had become an expert on the subject. “It was just something that wasn’t high on my list,” he told Time magazine. “But in a short period of time I understood everything there was to know about health care.”

We've already been over your fake 23 million number Sutie. It is false and you have not presented any evidence to show that we should change our mind and believe that you have any idea what you're talking about, and continue to just rehash what you have heard without comprehending it.

Oddly enough two weeks after he talked about "taking the best of everything" he called the very same bill "mean." Perhaps he didn't bother to read the bill that he threw a party for in the rose garden?
Either way he hasn't kept his promise to the American people. He promised that ObamaCare would be immediately repealed and replaced and that everybody would have great healthcare and that the government would pay for it. Where is that bill????

Yes, BILLS, if you understood how things worked, go through the Legislative Branch first, then the Executive signs it into law, then the Judicial can rule on it. The corrupt swamp is doing everything they can to make him look bad, but they are only delaying the inevitable. It will happen. In Washington DC, nothing happens RIGHT NOW, when it comes to passing legislation. Trump can put pressure on them, and he has. Ryan is stalling and doing what he can to stop Americans from getting a good plan, but that can only go on for so long.

Yes. some of those 23 million, perhaps up to half will be people who opt out of buying insurance, but they still do not have insurance. That means if they get sick, they will either pay out of pocket, or more likely, get free care because hospitals cannot ethically and legally turn away sick people. The costs will eventually be passed onto the taxpayers or those with insurance through higher premiums. The Republican healthcare bill simply translates cuts in Medicaid into tax breaks for the very rich (those making >$250,000/yr). #MAGA

The swamp has nothing to do with this. Trump celebrated the passing of a bill in the house and then two weeks later he called the very same bill "mean." This is about Trump, not anybody else.

obamacare was going to fail eventually anyways since it just wasnt sustainable. either way we need to find something else that works.

Obamacare is failing because the Trump administration is sabotaging it by withdrawing marketplace subsidies and more importantly injecting uncertainty in the market. Insurers hate uncertainty and pull out.
