Chad-Alan Carr pushed for LGBTQ messaging around the historic town where the Battle of Gettysburg took place in the Civil War.
Authorities have said he groomed a teenage boy with sexually explicit videos... including two felony counts tied to photographing or filming sexual acts and knowingly depicting them on a computer...detectives later interviewed the alleged victim, who told them he had known Carr since childhood but that inappropriate behavior did not begin until Carr became involved with high school musical productions in Gettysburg when the teen was 14...[a bit later in] his sophomore and junior years of high school, Carr became very kind and he gave (the victim) a lot of attention. (The victim) then recalled Carr asking him how they could get in touch, not through school email...[highly sexual] exchanges occurred between 2011 and 2013, when the alleged victim was 16 and 17 years old"
So victim would be near 30 today, looking for justice & one might hope, able to prove things.

Just as illegal, and ESP as he knew the victim from a place of authority, nearly as bad.
Not that sexually enticing post-pubescent children is OK - it is not - but there are degrees of evil...But people, you have to be able, as an adult, to separate thought and desire from action!
When I was 19, I spent the summer (home from college) working as a lifeguard at a community pool. There was a girl who kept coming on to me - she was cute & sexy and I'd DEFINITELY have "done that". In fact, we were all set to go out on a Sat after work... UNTIL a co-worker clued me in that, while she looked 17 or 18, she was in-fact, only 14! (For clarity: I'm pansexual)
That didn't make her less attractive - or less sexually enticing - but it DID mean there was NO WAY I would have acted upon that!
In the end, I wound up hooking up with the only other MALE lifeguard who worked at that pool!
