Help my uploads keep getting Removed
-
Hello, i have managed to upload six torrents that have not been removed. However, I have uploaded three previously that have been taken down. Four if you include one which got flagged for copyright, but I understand that.
The others I don't understand. I did the same thing for them that I did for the others that weren't removed. What Am I doing wrong?
-
what were u posting?

@phoenixstorm apart from copyright, the only two reasons for torrents to be removed are poor quality posts or duplicates.
Duplicates: if your torrent is similar in size to a copy of the same content that was previously uploaded and still alive, yours is removed.
Poor quality, this one is less objective: things like poor naming, no description, too many duplicate files, an aggregate of random videos that doesn't follow any particular theme, etc.
-
This was explained to you by staff in several PM's. The issue is that you keep uploading random collections with no common theme, as per the requirements of our rules for a collection.

@ianfontinell-0 This was explained and I think i got it now. My uploads were not well defined and not cohesive.
-
I appreciate the staff making sure that torrent uploads are organized in some kind of cohesive manner. I love browsing and finding new and fun torrents, and one of the strengths of GTRU is the extensive collection, but it only works if everything is organized and filterable with clear descriptions, thumbnails, etc.

@rnd256 By the way - not directed at you - Miscategorized torrents can be reported (nicely).
One time I got that point in, and somebody else here made fun of it, as if wanting categories to work was the weirdest thing.

hello, if i upload a collection but it's flagged and taken down because of copyright. How do i know which file was the culprit so I can remove it?
-
@phoenixstorm ... ** rest assured any file you are posting are subject to copyright** ...
So there is nothing you can do once spotted ...
see : https://www.gaytor.rent/dmca.phpex: gaytor.rent has received a notice to take down the torrent [xxx] alleging copyright infringement. This notice was received by the copyright owner or a verified agent authorized to make such a claim. Accordingly, the torrent has been removed from the browse list and tracker.
Be assured this notice was sent to us, the website, and does not involve their seeking out information about the uploader. In any case, we would never reveal information about our users or their accounts.
If you believe this notice to be erroneous, you may submit a counter notification in accordance with instructions found on the <DMCA> page.
Thank you in advance for continuing to share and contribute to gaytor.rent's torrent list by uploading different torrent titles. In case of doubt, consult the rules and banned list for what may not be uploaded.
see @MrMazda above point ...

if that was the case the site wouldn't even have DMCA related email. When you file a complaint you must provide a list with all infringing files, so both the agent and the site staff are aware of the files that are being reported.
@phoenixstorm the site will not disclose that information to members so there really is not much you can do. Most of the DMCA complaints are automated and filed by bots that scrape the site looking for keywords, so the last advice is: try to be as generic as possible in your torrent title, description and file names.
