      Re: HELP SEARCHING PLEASE?!?

@ianfontinell-0 said in HELP SEARCHING PLEASE?!?:

There is no AND/OR operator. It is as follows:

By default, all entries will be processed using AND operator.

If you search for: guigsims holenextdoor you are making a search for torrents containing both the terms guigsims AND holenextdoor.

This no longer works for every query. I believe it stopped working since last week.

For example, now I have to manually type in operators when searching for "Sam Weiss", but don't for "Scott Wild". IDK why, it's kinda weird / not intuitive.

I submitted a ticket to help desk but am putting it here just in case and for others to give opinions 🙂

        Happy searching.

@vgl1-0 I belive it is just a database bug, nothing really changed in how the search tool works. Sometimes results act weird for a few days and then come back to normal.

At least you know that it is a bug and that by using quotation marks you can have the results show up, sadly many people would just assume there is nothing.

@ianfontinell-0 Yeah, no one replied to my ticket but they did a database maintenance check earlier to fix it.
Not familiar with backend stuff so the database being the reason seems interesting 😃
