FBI Denies Tennessee Star’s FOIA Request for ‘Legacy Tokens’ Memo Sent to Suppress Trans Covenant Killer Manifesto Release

@raphjd Hmm. Who at FBI denied this FOIA release, I wonder?
Background. Audrey Hale, Trans mass murderer in 2023.
Story here seems to be:
-
some at MNPD wanted to be open & transparent about Hale
-
FBI often is - say, if mass shooter is White male. Rushes out their manifesto
-
but in Hale's case, for some mysterious magical reason, FBI preferred info suppression. It took a year & many difficulties, for public to get Hale "Tranifesto"
-
To make MNPD go along, FBI apparently sent rare memos to them
When asked for a copy of the [rarely-seen 2018 advice] memo that the FBI’s BAU-1 sent MNPD, the agency said the document “is not searchable in our indices,” and thus, the FOIA request could not be completed
Did old FBI management destroy info? as new management came in?
the memo originated within BAU-1, an obscure unit of the FBI that was dramatized on television’s “Criminal Minds.”
Does Tennessee Star hint that certain nasty libs at FBI destroyed memo recently to cover it up, and separately, are hooked up with Hollywood libs?
[new] FBI Director Kash Patel previously suggested it was his predecessor, former Director Chris Wray, who stood in the way of the release of both Hale’s manifesto and the client list belonging to deceased sex trafficker and financier Jeffrey Epstein...
“The FBI airmailed into that operation and said this is not getting out,” said Patel during a December 2023 interview. “All these local law enforcement agencies get funding from the DOJ and FBI for local programs, and if you don’t cooperate, you’re not getting your million dollars for this. That’s a lot of money to these local districts. That’s how they play the game..."
[Tennessee Star] sought an additional update shortly after Patel was confirmed to a 10-year stint as the FBI’s director but has yet to receive a response.
