If you believe GG - Lula & Bolsonaro are both halfway-decent people, Brazil is a tragi-comedy of corruption & censorship.

late 2010s, Lula was very popular
but Brazil had a big anti-corruption probe, led by Judge Sergio Moro, considered a hero, & he jailed Lula
2018, Bolsonaro elected, put popular "hero" Judge Moro in charge of Justice Ministry
which was too much, because Moro also turned out corrupt
Glenn broke that story in Brazil media, became hated by Bolsonaro movement, who indicted Glenn on 126 lawfare felonies
Glenn's reporting meanwhile got Lula out of jail; first person Lula called & thanked, was Glenn
but Bolsonaro was never implicated in Moro corruption; had only followed a popular tide
Brazil's "Establishment" Right - think RINO types, Mitch McConnell - hated Bolsonaro
one of those, Brazil’s Federal Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes, started crusade against Bolsonaro - with lots of authoritarian censorship & lawfare, ridiculous
Glenn publicly objected to Moraes - on same reasons/principles as he objected to Moro
Glenn is now liked by Bolsonaro movement, friends with both Lula & Bolsonaro people
