USA: Record 84 Anti-LGBTQ Bills Became Law In 2023
-
508 anti LGBTQ+ bills were introduced across the U.S. with 84 passed into law.
Sad to see TN, so aggressively anti-gay in their gov't. Nashville and its folk are so gay-friendly.
Thankfully in a few states that have conservative legislatures and tried to pass anti-gay laws, they were stopped by their Democratic Governor. Blue states have also stepped up and passed laws protecting our rights.
Frustrating that this is happening still in 2023.
Best wishes to all our queer brothers that live in red states. Happily, for myself, I am in a blue state that supports our community. You are in my brothers!
Voting matters, gents. Remember that in 2024!

@duncanlem Baloney alert! First you must define "anti LGBTQ".
There were a lot of laws passed against sick evil child mutilation & child porn, I grant - laws that many of us LGBT agree with.
Q-pedophile types were unhappy - but I always say, forget them!

PS. how can you even vote.... when USA elections rigged? see other threads
Wait I see.... you can vote 2, 5, 10, 100 times as in 2020 - see this thread:

As a gay man, what laws have been passed against me?
I'm talking about actual laws, not ones MSM outlets lied about.
The law that made harsher punishments for indecent behavior in public does not count as it applies to everyone regardless of sexual orientation. It's only homophobic to those who believe that LGBTs can't act in a decent manner while in public.
Nor does the Florida law that bans gay pornography in school libraries, count as homophobic laws.
