Some native Uks also get right idea - champion Artur Bilan refuses to return home: https://humanevents.com/2023/11/14/world-champion-ukrainian-fisherman-quits-team-stays-in-italy-after-competition-to-avoid-draft
"We have a small child who needs to go to school and not hear explosions," he told his teammate Danyo Lyasov. "And, of course, my wife doesn't want me to go to war or be recycled. But it is true - I have already received two [military draft] calls and we have no opportunity to resolve the issue. And we want to live! Of course, I understand that my career in Ukraine is over, but this is my life and I have to live it and I am my own judge. This decision was difficult for me."
Let's hope Ukraine spokeszombie, Mike Cirillo, denounces him. (Would be hilarious)
Btw @jaroonn Churchill, since ur alive, guess u never did make it to Ukraine front line for ur volunteer service? right?
