Solved How to get more credit for my Uploads?
-
Is it normal to upload so many large files but only see less than 1 GB increase in my upload count? What do I need to do to get more credit??
-
@Darekins-0 Yes and no.... No it's not "normal" on the most part, however I see that you are running uTorrent 3.6.0, which has many known compatibility issues with our system. The issue you are having is one of the "normal" things about uTorrent 3.6.0 with our system. There are also a number of other issues that often come up with this version
If you uninstall uTorrent 3.6.0, then install uTorrent 3.5.5 or earlier in its place, you can get around this issue and have your data and active torrents reported properly.

@Darekins-0 ...
In order to maintain your ratio, you should focus on building your buffer ...
Stay away from dowloading large amount of files while seeding, cause this process will trigger the whole thing ...
Seeding large amount of files w/ few seeder and bunch of leechers is the best way ...
Freelech is a good example w/o affecting your ratio ...
Ex : a 500 - 750 mb upload = 1 point
1 gb for [partial seeding] ... -
@john32123666 Based on the user's history, I don't think there's much of an issue there. The issue in their case is likely squarely on uTorrent 3.6.0. It does many strange things when working with our tracker. Some of these include showing that the tracker is working and seeding, however the site doesn't see this on our end. Sometimes no data at all is reported, so you can be seeding actively all day and have nothing to show for it. This is why I recommended rolling back to uTorrent 3.5.5 or earlier, which does not have this problem.
