Virgin Atlantic changes dress code
-
Virgin Atlantic has changed its dress code to allow staff to wear either men's or women's uniforms or a combination of men's and women's uniforms.
-
@raphjd That's cool, thanks for sharing. Quite a formal customer service and management position in the public eye for which to de-gender uniforms. Sauce: https://edition.cnn.com/style/article/virgin-atlantic-gender-neutral-uniforms-intl-scli/index.html (great pic!)

Thanks, raph, for giving us some ponderous political fashion -- lol -- and store, for the article and picture.
-
@raphjd But wait -- we're not finished yet!
British Airways is mounting (tee hee) a challenge to the Virgin be-yourself employee dress guidelines.
Piercings are allowed, which begs the question, does that include the genital kind?
Could a frequent flyer check this out and report back, (with pics, please)?
-
As long as they aren't a safety hazard, I don't care if someone is pierced.

I have "known" several flight attendants, and I don't recall any piercings.
Perhaps I should do more research.
