I have reported multiple times this torrent:
      https://www.gaytor.rent/details.php?id=3f5cd23d7ec5608313fdca579e25a0ffd0973e634891791b
      as a duplicate.

      The original upload being:
      https://www.gaytor.rent/details.php?id=25805b83bef5466813fdca579e25a0ffd5bae6215c9a1335
However my reports have no effect.
Seven weeks ago the staff suggested that I try again; which I've done at least 4 or 5 times since then…

@Douseikekkon I wouldn't get too stressed about it. The moderation of the site seems to be pretty disorganised and haphazard at the moment. All you can do is report and move on.

          @drekkin I'm not that stressed at all… 😌
It's just that this reporting precisely (though renewed several times) has no effect; while I've done some others more recently, which were all taken into account.
I was rather curious to know what is special about this peculiar one. But I agree with you: it's a minor matter.

A file is considered a duplicate if an existing torrent has the same format and similar size (<10% difference)
and has at least one seeder.

The other torrent you are reporting is dead [non-seeder]

It should only works if both torrent has a seeder
that way the original can be recycled [♺] and revived ...

[œùæ] : " Mahirap mag dunong dunongan, Kung wala kang kaalam alam " ...

@ john32123666 is correct that this is technically NOT a Duplicate because of the one that does not have a least one seeder.

It turns out that if a Moderator gets a Report that is NOT a Duplicate then the report is simply deleted (not ignored as you wrote in the first post). The User who reported it is NOT advised.

Also, it turns out that the Duplicate reports are put in a stack. This means the oldest are at the bottom, which is why you may find (as you wrote in the first post) that more recent reports have been acknowledged. Again, remember that Non-duplicate reports are not acknowledged anyway.

There is a way to ensure that your Duplicate Report does get actioned. You wrote in the first post "I'm able to seed both of them with the same file on my hard drive". Therefore, do that. Then the original will have the "at least one seeder". When you get the original seeding, then use ONLY the Report Duplicate link at the bottom of the torrent page for the duplicate.

@john32123666 The rule you have quoted states that the existing torrent should have at least one seeder, and in this case it has 20 seeders. It is the duplicate which has 0 seeders, so I can see no reason why it shouldn't have been deleted.

@drekkin This duplicate might have been interesting in 2018 when it was posted... it doesn't seem so important now. I don't know if that's why the report was ignored, of course.

Not related or useful at all, I just want to say it. Who came up with this genious idea that a duplicate is not a duplicate if it's dead? It's literally the same file, it could be "revived" at any given moment and, by being such an old post (both duplicate and original) it would likely go unnoticed forever. It is a duplicate, if the rule says it's not then the rule is wrong and must be changed.

                      Actually the rules say otherwise.

It is enough that the original torrent has seeders; which was the case.
As a matter of fact, some hours after this conversation the duplicate was removed (thanks to MrMazda).
