After 50 years, Boston Pride is no more.

We can thank BLM's constant demands that no white people be on the board of directors and any other position of any power.

I was not aware of something about BLM until yesterday.

BLM is not an organization to promote black people... BLM is primarily to promote black, WOMEN, especially trans! In other words.. BLM is no fan of black men (unless they get tits). It seems to me that black people should be outraged that Floyd George is being given the same status as Martin Luther King.

Let's not forget the now-deleted video on Twitter where they chanted that they are about protecting black criminals.

St George of Floyd pointed the gun at her belly, threatening to kill her and the baby while demanding money.

                @raphjd What a heeeeeero...

Imagine one of Clint Eastwood's "Dirty Harry" movies.
What do you suppose Harry Callahan would have done with a guy high on fentanyl, threatening a clerk, passing counterfeit money, refusing to get into the police car, who had pointed a gun at the very pregnant belly of a woman and demanding cash? He would have blown him away.

But now, they erect monuments and statues and pass legislation making George Floyd the patron saint of black people. That outraged someone so much that a lightning bolt hit one of the George Floyd monuments - destroying it.

wow, you guys are really ignorant. You pick and choose what you see and string together a tale that is untrue and out of context. BLM is a movement that brings attention to the fact that black people are constantly being killed by cops unjustly; being born black does not give white people the right to kill us just because they feel like it. George Floyd had a past but he did nothing wrong when he was killed, it has been published that the alleged fake $20 bill was actually real, but even if it was fake is $20 worth killing someone? If the tides were turned and white people were being killed daily by cops for minor and trivial infractions, white boys jailed for life sentences for having a bag of weed, the media only pictured white people living in run down double wides missing teeth because they were all meth heads then you all would feel a way too. You all enjoy the privilege of being white men so you have the lux of not having to have empathy or compassion for anyone other than yourself.

Hmm, what does the death of George Floyd have to do with BLM forcing out the white people from Boston Pride?

Cops do kill white for extremely minor things. You don't know about it because you don't want to know about it and your beloved liberal media don't want you to know about it.

If you cared about equality, then you would know about ALL the people killed by police, not just the ones you can screech "racism" about.

If you cared about the truth, you would do some actual investigations about the facts yourself rather than just believing whatever BS the left spew.

BTW, many non-whites don't like BLM, for the reasons that have been talked about on the site.

Of course, you are too stupid to get that hating BLM, has nothing to do with race. Thee are plenty of non-whites I would vote for in a heartbeat. Sadly, you hate those same people and call them all manner of racist names, because they refuse to pick the DNC cotton.

@raphjd Boston parade wasn't closed with BLM forcing out white people. It was closed, because it wasn't inclusive enough. It was the leadership that resigned. It is hoped that other's more inclusive will take over the task. And I have done my investigation. Your link doesn't say that you are saying. And I haven't found ANY text that back you up.

Who do you think was demanding "diversity"?

In the link, they even say that they are dissolving Boston Pride because of the non-whites are demanding it.

QTBIPOC - the POC in that is People Of Color.

Funny enough, those same POC that demanded change couldn't bother to take over Boston Pride.

BLM has been involved with taking over other Pride (and non-Pride) Events and holding it hostage with their idiotic demands.

@kekeporn well I admit the purpose of BLM is good but not everything can be justified just because the purpose is good. I'm an Asian living in Europe and I can see everything in the U.S is incredibly political so BLM became a movement for gaining certain groups' political power. It's not for justice anymore. Don't get fooled by people saying something sweet on your ears.

@raphjd Please queen. Do you realize how angry and ignorant you sound? New here but see you posting lots of good things. This thread, not so much. You can't imagine attacking a movement of people of color seeking to redress and ameliorate the residue of millenia of oppression will go over well. Boston will be fine. Philadelphia Pride had been widely unliked for many years, primarily due to a complete lack of transparency and coziness with police. They finally let it go, and the mantle has been picked up by a wonderful coalition of folks from many backgrounds determined to be open, transparent and inclusive. Those are good things. Pride activities this year have been amazing. I bet the same will happen in Boston.
