Several virus-laden torrents recently
-
Can we please do something about the recent onslaught of the virus-laden uploads? I keep downloading and virus scanning these visual novels and games and apps, and reporting each and every one and yet the user (or several users) keep uploading new and new torrents loaded with viruses.
What does it take to ban or IP ban that person, and possibly the person who sent them an invite too.

reporting suspicious and malicious torrent files is the right thing to do ...
unfortunately the system has no control of what users posting [download/upload] ...
however once a suspicious virus activity process is auto detected ...
[your] anti-virus/anti-spyware software well scan and quarantine those
and you'll receive a notification warning ...ex: PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program)

For now notify helpdesk: [about this] https://www.gaytorrent.ru/helpdesk.php
and report those suspicious torrent ...
And be aware of any circumstances [false report] that may lead to account warning, suspension and termination ... -
In addition:
There are some anti-virus/malware/spyware software protection that restrictly [blocks] and detects non-harmful program as harmful ...
ex: kaspersky, bit defender and others [too defensive and strong] ...
You should see virus definition [database] ...

Since member privacy is crucial we cannot see who uploaded a torrent, making it very dangerous to download anything executable. Websites that are aimed specifically for software sharing you have means to identify the uploader, along other measures such as trusted/untrusted badges.
If you can't trust it, why bother downloading? Not worth the risk. If it's something really cool and exciting you'll find people talking about it outside GT.

But today, even the simple act of viewing a malicious advertisement can result in a full-blown computer virus infection.
Because torrent website rarely screen their advertisers, “malvertisement” virus attacks are becoming increasingly common.Fortunately, there are simple yet effective countermeasures you can deploy to protect your computer and keep it safe from attack.

Looks like there's been a misunderstanding here. When I wrote "we" I meant @Staff
I already reported a lot of the visual novels and games, but there's still a lot of torrents, that seem to be posted by the same person because they all share the same filename structure, which is dot zip dot rename.
I unfortunately do not have the time or the energy to download every single one of these suspicious looking torrents, then run a complete virus scan, then individually report each and every single one of these torrents.
There have been at least 10 reports by me alone on these torrents over the weekend, and sadly this user's uploads have not been wiped from the system, and judging by the time of the uploads, they haven't been banned either.
The issue is so severe at this point I had to escalate it to a forum post, so the @Staff can act appropriately.
This user or users need to be not only banned, but IP banned too, possibly the person who supplied the invite issued a warning as well, but most importantly, ALL the uploads need to be wiped from the system so they don't cause more harm now and in the future!

Accusing or pointing someone is not the right solution, regardless ...
Let them handle [a person responsible] and decide what to do ...
If someone violates the rules; let them address the person ...
As an old saying "don't judge a book by its own cover" ... -
How is this user still not banned?
This is their latest upload, again loaded with trojans and viruses
