Here's a link where you can choose your client :
Read carefully before doing so ...

Virtually all of the staff use either qBitTorrent (latest version) or uTorrent 2.2.1 (vintage version).

                That's odd.

uTorrent 2.2.1 is extremely stable, due to it lacking the bloatware they have become famous for.

I'd highly recommend you try qBittorrent and there are many reasons to do so:

MORE PRIVACY - As opposed to uTorrent, qbittorrent is open-source so you can audit the code yourself to check precisely what it's doing, which is VERY important for an application that has all sorts of network permissions and privileges that a torrent client requires.

SAFER - It's an ongoing development where everyone can contribute, so it's always up to date regarding to breaches and safety protocols. And as opposed to utorrent it does not install any additional software nor keeps any suspicious background activity running.

MORE ESTABLE - It's very light and requires very low system resources, you can have more than 500 torrents and it'll still be consuming very few CPU/RAM and have a quick response time.

MORE FEATURES - You can automatically manage torrent categories, to which you can address a specific download folder. You can monitor every error/warning message and filter the torrent list by category, tracker and status. You can select a monitored folder so that every torrent file added to it is automatically added to the queue.

The interface is very similar to utorrent so it's not a big deal to get used to

@raphjd Who was that genius who was pushing people so hard to migrate from uTorrent to Qbittorrent? He even uploaded a utility which copies all the torrents and paths and tags from Utorrent to Qbittorrent in a matter of seconds.

@lovekwild I've lost my uTorrent before.. because it sometimes gets tagged as a virus. I used to use uTorrent as a backup torrent client for special purposes... but I have not used it in months.

The one person who is by far the most helpful when it comes to uTorrent is Rafi. He has worked very hard for many years to make uTorrent as useful as possible. The staff of uTorrent are completely USELESS.
