Spent an hour uploading photos and creating a torrent but site doesnt know it

and what is worse i got a system generated message saying i am not seeding it- when clearly it is!
and i never get an answer why
why do i bother trying to add to this site?

Did you download the .torrent file off of the torrent page. It won't know that you are seeding it otherwise.

This is usually the case… Please hold while I do some digging on how the torrent was created.
EDIT: Torrent was created in uTorrent directly, so my guess is that it was seeding with the .torrent you created to submit the upload, rather than the downloaded .torrent file generated by the system, which contains your correct tracker information, including your unique passkey.

Just because you are seeding doesn't mean you are uploading. There has to be someone at the other wanting to share from you

Also, you need to be sure that the port number that your torrent client uses (both TCP and UDP) are forwarded from your router (often built into your modem) through to your computer. In most cases, either setting a static IP address for your computer or setting a static DHCP reservation for your computer are recommended to ensure that your IP address within your local network does not change, thus rendering your port forwarding ineffective.
