      The USSC ruled 9-0 in Caniglia v Strom that warrantless gun seizures are unconstitutional.

      Also, in the opinion is that because the police lied to the wife about the husband giving consent, which he did not, her consent was voided.

      The ruling does not affect states with "red flag" laws that involve a court order to remove the guns.

        This case was not decided under the 2nd Amendment. Guns were only incidentally involved in the facts of the case.

        The legal issue in the case was the 4th Amendment's search and seizure clause. Both the liberal justices and the conservative justices are generally against warrantless searches and seizures under the 4th Amendment, hence the 9-0 decision.

          True, but this is a 2A case as well since liberals have said they want to come into our houses and take our guns.

          The Biden DOJ sided with the warrantless gun confiscation and asked the USSC to allow it.
