Quick Torrent Maker Doesn't Work For Me

I'm new to using torrents. When I try to use QTM to upload a torrent, all it does is put a dead torrent on the site. It doesn't send anything to uTorrent and I don't have an actual torrent to seed. I just don't understand. How do I fix this?

When torrent successfully uploaded, you must re-download first from the torrent page...
[Do not seed the torrent created by QTM or other Torrent software…]
In order to seed, point the torrent path file to where had been located…
Wait until 100% check and will establish peer once it is connected...
It will be visible after a few minutes when your torrent client is running...
