Ratio fixing suggestions

Howdy
For quite some time now I find that I'm always walking the fine 0.800 red line. With 1.87TB downloaded it's not easy to make an impact on the ratio.
For years I would download, enjoy, move to a storage hard drive and eventually delete content. Additionally, I tend to dig up older torrents that are not as popular for seeding anymore.
To add another layer to my problem, since last year Ive been torrenting almost exclusively from my tablet insted of my pc, which seems to severely limit seeding.Any tips and suggestion on how to raise the ratio are welcome. I've gone over the official FAQs but would like to hear some user advice. Thanks!

I've downloaded a similar amount and have a ratio over 12. I seed 24/7/365 and generally seed every torrent I've ever downloaded that is still available on the site. That is sufficient if you have a decent upload speed and peers can connect to you.
It seems that most of my upload traffic is from the oldest torrents with few or no other seeders. Every once in a while, someone will download those files and they also get recycled and made freeleech by the mods on occasion.
Also, any time I am the only seeder for a torrent and I get a reseed request, I use seedbonus points to make the torrent freeleech to draw enough peers so that the requester can download since connecting to me hasn't worked. (The only exception is with large collections that would require an outrageous number of points.)
Lately, I have been deleting some older files that I downloaded 10+ years ago that I no longer enjoy watching but if there are fewer than 5 seeders, I use seedbonus points to make them freeleech to give them a chance of survival. There is a surprising demand for smaller video files (100-500MB) when they are freeleech and it doesn't take many seedbonus points to make them freeleech. That might be a more efficient use of your seedbonus points than buying upload traffic.
So to summarize, seed everything you have 24/7/365 and use your seedbonus points thoughtfully.

As a general rule, seed, seed, seed…. Sometimes mods like me will look over users at random and look for low seed torrents that they are seeding to freeleech and/or promote them to help users get upload traffic. This can also be done upon request as well. Unfortunately, if you're not seeding your torrents, no amount of assistance that we can offer will really do much help for you.

A tablet? Have to say, at least you are trying and inquiring!
If my only option was a tablet, but I had $x to spare monthly, I'd look into getting a seedbox account if I could not find a friend willing to share theirs. If I remember right, one can torrent files to the seedbox to save and share, and simply stream from it when ready to view it on the tablet.

Thanks for the tips guys!
seems that my problem is mainly my habits and limitations, drive space, tablet, connection… i download way more that what i seed, darn it.
Ill see about an old pc that I can leave online semi permanently and try to get the ratio up. at least im now at 0.81... -

That is what I do! Older PC is in the cool dry basement and is for torrents only, nothing else.

You'll def need something with more storage, the social contract with torrents is to upload as much as you download.
I had the storage but kept running into bandwidth limitations from my ISP so found a seedbox works really well, it's like $5 a month for a basic one with a few hundred gigs storage, then you can do all your p2p on it and download your files from there.
