Site-wide rules for moderation on forums?
-
A post that broke no rules was removed from the Politics and Debate board overnight with no notification or comment.

There was at least one other post removed, too.

Are there any site-wide rules governing moderators' actions and forum postings? Or are moderators allowed free hand to do whatever they want to do?
I'm also asking that either the posts be restored or that I be notified of valid reasons why they were removed. Otherwise, the forum boards are just personal bulletin boards for whichever moderator they're assigned to.
If there was indeed a rule broken of which I'm not aware, obviously I need to be made aware of it so I won't do it again. It's poor practice to remove anything but advertising spam without an explanation and I don't see that happening on the other boards here.

One of my replies was also removed, I asked about a locked thread, then did a test to see if I can lock my own thread, then went back to edit my reply to "Nevermind". The "Nevermind" reply was removed. It was just one word.
Where I used to train moderators, only one moderator was permitted to be vile and rambunctious, for the purpose of drumming up interest in a variety of issues in order to help keep the site alive. Ultimately, that failed too, but that led to some interesting days.
If this is what is happening here, well then . . .

At least one of my posts was removed from that board without explanation in the past. I just let it slide because it wasn't important, but the last post I made that was removed was important.
I understand that the moderator is a regressive fascist. I can accept that he does things like pin irrelevant propaganda to the top of the board and even that he allows extreme violations of site-wide rules such as the one against posting expletives anywhere to go unchecked.
However, it's not worth participating in a forum if the moderator is both extremely biased and capricious in performing moderation functions, after a certain point. Removing legitimate posts without notice or explanation for no apparent reason is beyond that point.
Thus my questions.

I dont know context of the post being deleted so no judge, but I do know not many members are truly participating in discussion on forum on daily basis, bear is one of few who actively and continually communite and help others here, this is fact. so hope he wont got discouraged and let forum lost an active member.
Politics is an argumentative area, so personally I dont talk about it esp on a porn forum. If here was my forum, politics section wouldn't even exist, members would be advised to go to other sites eg. reddit to discuss it. But we already have this section and allow members discuss it here, then only hope mods are careful, considerate and wise enough handling such sensitive matters.

This site is not a democracy and our decisions stand.
Clearly one of our resident liberal trolls is trying to stir up crap.
These same whiny trolls are happy that Reddit shut down their biggest ever subreddit because it was pro-trump, but are butt hurt that they can't make this site blindly anti-Trump.
Baseless attacks are common place by a few liberal posters. One of them even called me a "fatty" because I criticized the trolls for posting non-stop body shaming of Trump and others.
Posting "nevermind" looked like a garbage post to be delete, since you edited the post to say that.

LOL, I'm far from a fascist.
"Irrelevant propaganda" is what you claim it is? You and your fellow liberal trolls have posted a lot of body shaming threads, as well as blatant lies that you heard from leftist media.
I have posted facts, as to correct your posted lies.
