“So, let them send it in and let them go vote,” Trump said in an interview with WECT-TV in Wilmington, North Carolina, when asked about the security of mail-in votes. “And if the system is as good as they say it is then obviously they won’t be able to vote” in person.
Opinion: Here's the president that says people are voting illegally and that voting by mail is a fraud to rig the election. He's telling people to vote by mail (which he says is a fraud), and then commit an illegal act just prove his point… insanity. I'm sure more than one here are gonna make the argument:
1. It happens every election, it's widespread (with no evidence is truth)
2. He's just joking, he's not serious (magic card crazy supporters use to dismiss insane statements and move on)
3. He just want's verify if it's possible. If it's not possible to vote twice then it shouldn't be a problem (you shouldn't tell people to commit something illegal just to see if it's possible to do it LOL) -

One finding from their studies is,
Officials identified just 372 possible cases of double voting or voting on behalf of deceased people out of about 14.6 million votes cast by mail in the 2016 and 2018 general elections, or 0.0025 percent.
If bad actors are using mail-in voting to "rig" elections, they're not doing a very good job.

The reason he did it is to create doubt about elections and the process of voting and in particular the upcoming election. He won the electoral vote but not the popular vote in 2016. He is going to have an even harder time winning this year after having demonstrated just how awful of a president he actually is in more ways and to a greater degree than anyone could have imagined in 2016. He is not running against such an awfully unappealing candidate from the other major party this time around, either.
It's just what he does, promoting conspiracy theories and sowing doubt about anything that doesn't favor him or that he doesn't like. He has a long history of that. Questioning Obama's place of birth is a good example. That sort of thing appeals to the angry, ignorant and stupid sheep who are his core supporters.

Not even reading your comment, because you're always wrong. He did it, to say, hey! We know you're trying to cheat, so we'll do it to. Still want mail in ballots? OOOOHHH Now you might be reconsidering. Conservatives don't cheat, but they might. Barr pointed out blatant examples of voter fruad cases which have been PROVEN - that it's FACTUAL that democrats have used mail in to cheat. So if we can't stop them, we'll be doing it too. Don't like it? Too bad.

Trump is the BIGGEST fraudster of them all, from screwing over small contractors by not paying them to cheating on his taxes. He is deliberately encouraging voter fraud to undermine democracy.

Yea, I'll agree that Trump has some sort of thing with the Vaccine Industry and I'm not happy with this warp speed crap. But the comment about voting twice was clearly made in jest. Republicans aren't voting twice. He was pointing out that only dims cheat and trying to make a case. There are countless examples that have come up recently, they found military ballots in the trash and all of them were for Trump. Ilhan Omar was exposed for a pay for vote scheme recently by Veritas. The dims are cheaters and we're on the case. But the fax don't matter to you guys. Dims are being put in jail for fraud over this, not Repubs.
