Gay themed section and actual movies

ive searched before posting this and It's a bit of a bugbear for me , so im just gonna rant for a wee while
Im wondering if the "themed movie " section of the torrents could be given a big sweep through with the broom so to speak and get rid of the things that arent actual gay themed movies , more and more ive noticed torrents that are snippets of movies or "scene's" or totally unrelated to a movie at all like instructional clips , im not saying delete them , maybe a miscellaneous section could be added to accommodate this kind of stuff.another is language and subtitles , it would be a nice feature to have it compulsory to state if the movie is in English or another language , if it has sub's hard or soft , other sites have this as a requirement and no one has issues with it.
to make note , there was one movie, i forget the name , but it was about a serial killer , 5 copies of it in the torrent section and not one comment that it had hard hardcoded arabic subs all over it ,smack bang in the middle of the screen , i have FTTP , so downloading is fairly quick , a few minutes but then you have to let it go to ensure you give back a good share ratio on a file that is rubbish.the rest of the categories are spot on , but when it comes to Gay themed movies , its really really messy , full of duplicate after duplicate movie , non movies and clips that arent really relevant to a themed movie whatsoever.
i would like to add KUDOS to the mods of the sections !

I am not sure about the compulsory bit - what sanction would you have?
But I have suggested before that 'Themed Movies' could do with some sub-sections, for instance, shorts, documentaries, romance, comedy.
I also think it would be a courtesy if people would indicate the language and whether there are subtitles.

I agree , in relation to compulsory what i mean is to mention Subs hard or soft or none
language etc , i am a member of other sites that remove the torrent or ask the OP to fix it if those bare details are missing.I'm definitely in the Pro your idea camp for the sub category , just at a simpler level with the Miscellaneous category covering things that arent actual "films''

Miscellaneous would be good too. But I don't know how much trouble it is to rewrite the tags. I feel it is not just a matter of adding something to the end

Agreed to full description especially in "Themed Movie" category and if I may add, uploader(s) of this category should also indicate if the movie's original dialogues (let's say English) was "dubbed" in another language, coz there's is a movie I'm about to dl when I read in a comment that it was "dubbed" in another language so I didn't dl it

I agree totally with everything you have said but I would like to suggest that possibly there could be an example of the kind of information that should be included in these themed movies possibly where the upload quides are posted. I unfortunately was one of those who was not including this information when I first started to upload themed movies but one of the moderators sent me an example of what I should be including in the torrent (easy to do once a person knows) and have been trying to do this since. Thanks to the moderator who provided a link were I could get info on the movies I was uploading that basically contain all the needed info. I must add it is nice to see someone deal with this issue in a courteous manner rather than sending a comment to give you SH_T. :thx:

I think that's a great idea to do a cleanup of the themed movies. If nothing else have Gay Themed and Straight Themed seperate because clearly there are a number of straight movies in the themed movies section. Personally I don't have problems with regular movies being uploaded as torrents as I personally enjoy many of these movies, as well as the gay themed movies and have downloaded a number of them myself. It would also make it SO MUCH EASIER to search for gay themed movies rather than find out after you have downloaded it thinking it was a gay themed movie that it wasn't. I have to admit that I was one of those members who uploaded a straight movie and after seeding it I was surprised to see that more than 35GB of the file had been seeded from my bittorrent and it was clear the movie was just a regular movie, not gay themed. Unfortunately after all the nasty comments, I just deleted the torrent just to stop them. I didn't know at the time that only GLBT movies were to be uploaded but after asking for advice from a moderator who indicated he thought it was a good idea to delete it. But….. I do believe there is a desire by some of the members to have more than just GLBT movies for downloading and possibly the site can do a survey of the members to get their views and/or suggeations.
