NHS dance videos with COVID-19
-
TikTok (mostly) and the rest of social media is full of NHS staff making dance videos, while non-COVID-19 medical services are either slashed or canceled.
In England, due to the cuts, 2,700 cancer diagnoses will not happen per week, until some time in the future. This is for routine cancer screening.
People with cancer symptoms referrals are down 75%, so even more people are not getting their cancer diagnosis.
It's estimated that an extra 50,000 will die of cancer because of all of this.
There are many other medical treatments that are extremely important to are either canceled or slashed, like Kidney Dialysis. KD has been reduced from 4 hours per treatment to 3 hours per and from 3 treatments per week to 2.
A guy with bowel cancer got a letter from his NHS Trust, that they were canceling this bowel cancer surgery until some unknown later date, due to COVID-19. He has already had cancer surgery to remove his bladder and prostate and other related bits.

That being said, is it right for me (and many others) to be upset that NHS are able to make dance party videos considering the times we are in?
Personally, I see it as crass, and "Nero played his fiddle while Rome burned".
NOTE: The history of Nero fiddling while Rome Burned is wrong, but I used it since it's a well-known phrase.

Yep. Welcome to global democracy. You can forget having a life for a while. It's over. The Republic is finished. I did a video interviewing the world's most famous scholar on this. The people are too corrupt.
