Hello, Why are all my torrents stuck at "Finding Peers"?
-
Hi Everyone, I have been downloading many stuff before and it worked fine, i am using Utorrent to Download them. I wanted to ask why already for 2 weeks i have about 6 different Downloads all stuck at "Finding Peers" not even connecting to Peers. And these are all files that have Seeders. I tied to sort it out with changing some settings and unlimiting the Download speed. But it's not working.
For the record i have already downloaded many torrents from here in the past month, however all the files after the downloaded was completed, i did seeded it for a while but had to remove them later from my income folder because i had no space left in my drive. Is this the reason why it won't connect me to peers? because i am also not "seeding" anything?
And if this is the reason then I hope someone can give me an advice how to fix this!
Regards,

I just came here when I noticed I had a similar problem, and saw your post. I downloaded a torrent a couple of hours ago (the first in quite a while… probably weeks I think) and noticed it was stuck at 0.00%. Strange, as other trackers are uploading fine, and I can download fine from elsewhere. It has seeders.
I looked in to it more, and the site shows 0 leech and 0 seeding, but this is not the case, as I am both seeding and trying to leech.I'm using qBittorrent 4.2.3 - just going to try and restart everything and see if that helps but I have not had this problem before that I recall.

Sorry, a restart (including making sure I switched from my usual preferred VPN exit node to a different one) has fixed the problem with the tracker for me. I have my DL and am showing as seeding now. So it may not be the same problem.

Hey, Thanks for the message. Can you be more specific about how to do a 'restart'? and btw i am not using any VPN, just my regular internet provider. Do you suggest using a VPN? and also do you recommend switching from uTorrent to qBittorrent 4.2.3? Because i have only been using Utorrent all this time. The problem is definitley not with seeders or leechers because all of those torrents i am trying to Download they certainly have Seeders (from what is written in the website) and also when i am trying to Download torrents from other websites it starts download without any trouble.

It's not unusual to not be able to connect to any peers if there are only a few. Making the torrent freeleech will attract other peers and then you should be able to connect to them. That's assuming that you have been able to connect to peers on at least one torrent. If you have not been able to connect to peers on any torrents, even those that have many peers, then something is wrong with your torrent software settings, firewall, internet connection, etc.
Is this the reason why it won't connect me to peers? because i am also not "seeding" anything?
Well, it looks like your ratio is under requirements (0.45) given your download amount. You need to seed in order to maintain a good ratio. That is probably the problem, but you could use the Helpdesk feature at the top of the page to contact a moderator to confirm that it is your ratio that is preventing you from downloading.
