The 90's were filled with erotic thrillers filled with softcore scenes.
Shannon Tweed was the queen of these features.
Would you watch something similar with gay content?

        I would and I have.
The Don Strachey mysteries were OK.
Hate Crime, Mysterious Skin, and Hellbent (2014) were very good.
        The DeCouteau movies are bad.
But the absolute worst had to be Dead Boys Don't Scream (AKA Male Models Can't Act.)  It combines the poor acting/writing/production values of most independent gay movies with a virulent loathing for:  Gay men, Lesbians, Transwomen.

Of course yes. I love soft porn with certain kind of story line. Let it be thriller, comedy or romance. Please please make such movies.

Sadly no. It really boggles the mind why we haven't saw any kind of these.
I would burst out of ecstasy if i could see a gay version of Dark Dancer (especially the beginning of the movie where we see a girl seducing her stepfather).

                I don't know.

On one hand, I would not watch a soft porn movie/TV show with bad actors, a crappy script/plot, and low production values. In that scenario there's nothing to enjoy about it as the main draw is the soft porn, which is useless seeing as how we have actual hardcore porn with with all those same elements (including the faked sex and orgasm).

On the other hand, I would definitely watch a movie/TV show where the acting, storylines, and production values are the most important features, but they often take scenes into TV-MA/NC-17 territory, showing full nudity, erections, and the occasional hole.

Ι suppose it could if it was a movie and not a series.

To be completely honest, if a thriller movie with mainstream/crossover intentions has softcore porn action (endless moaning, rubbing and no genitals), it's immediately crossed off my viewing list.

I find it distracts from, rather than enhances, whatever dramatic plot is being proposed.
