Any suggestion for going slim?

hit that gym and don't give up. if you're massive, it's easier to shape it than not have enough meat and try to build muscle. eat more protein than anything, loose sugar, that's a short answer.

i have the same issue. I can only tell you that its like 30 Percent the workout and like 70 Percent the food you eat. I started food prepping to help myself stay on the healthy food and on the portions.
For example :
1 Chicken breast . ( in the oven )
1 cup of rice
Brokoly. You can substitute what ever u like.
Ps- Overnight Oats are great, they keep you full for a long time and they are so easy to make and so many choices of what to mix in them.

Stop eating after the sun goes down
You can still drink (not alcohol or sugary treats)
If you get hungry, eat zero calorie veg/fruits
That's what I did and managed to lose a few pounds -
Counting calories helps a lot and ensures you've got the right deficit. It's amazing how hard it is to track what you eat throughout the day.. I don't even remember what I ate for lunch yesterday.

- diet is much more consequential than working out: you can lose weight without working out by cutting calories, but if you work out and still eat too much, you will gain weight
- meal prep as much as you can; ideally you can make all your meals by spending a couple hours twice a week; saving on time and effort in this way makes it easier to stay on track and not give up on your diet
- slowly reduce your calories instead of jumping into a restrictive diet
- use myfitnesspal or something similar for calorie tracking if you insist on buying meals (this is a bad idea when you're serious about losing weight)
- get therapy if over-eating is a way for you to avoid dealing with underlying issues; unless you deal with those issues, it will be very hard to sustain the willpower to not overeat

Weight is mostly determined by diet and outside factors such as stress, anxiety, etc. Not weight-training. I would suggest changing your diet and remove any stressers in your life that contribute to your overall happiness. It could be certain people, circumstances, etc. Also, when you change your diet, you'll begin to feel better naturally and have more energy. With the new found energy, you'll probably want to do more or become more active - this is a good thing. Use that energy to get involved with activities or projects that inspire you, rather than engaging in something that will discourage you or make you feel stressed out. I tried going back to the gym, and had no motivation to return. And then I started feeling bad about not returning, that it became "something I had to get done." When going to the gym turns into something else I put on my plate to accomplish, it stressed me out more and more. Stick to what YOU can do, that's easy for you. Instead of trying to go to the gym, I started with changing certain foods from my routine. I stopped drinking sugary, colored drinks and sodas. I'm now only drinking water or Ginger Ale, or coffee. I'm to the point where "Sprite" turns my stomach and I haven't had an orange or red or purple soda or fountain drink in over 15 years. I also increased my veggie intake. I love Kale and Spinach and Cauliflower mostly. I only do broccoli when I need to flush my system, otherwise too much of it isn't good for me. I also love beans and rice, mostly brown rice. I still put a lot of shredded cheese and dressing on salads though. lol. I used to love fried chicken, but the grease turns my stomach now, so I do baked or grilled chicken now. Still love fish though!
