I am avid Legend of Zelda from 1988 to know.  Breath of the wild is out and a different format. Who likes the new "open" world.  I am sad there was no dungeons or items to help along the way from games past. What do you think?

I do not own a Switch yet, but when I do I will buy Breath of the Wild. I liked the past games, my favorite was Wind Waker. This new game seems cool, I have not read much about it to not spoil everything before I buy it, but one thing I read and I know I will not like is the weapons breaking.

I wish I had a friend to test it first. I wonder if it's really a system seller.

I have played for a month pass the big grassland mean 1st level 3 or 5 temples.

it’s a nice game worth to have a try. I preffer the old style zelda link between the past

For me it really was. I do not regret buying a switch for this game. Breath of the Wild is a masterpiece.

Anybody playing through the new Zelda DLC? How’re you finding it? I’m loving the new challenges at the start!

Is it like older Zeldas? No. Is it still really good? Absolutely. I hope they do go back and switch it up with a classic style Zelda in the future, but I'm definitely not mad they tried something new.

When I first replied to this post, I didn't have a Switch, but now I do. Regarding Breath of the Wild, I like the game, it's different from the others. But, between this game or the classic format, I like the classics better. I liked the different themed dungeons and the items we got in each one. The trials just don't feel the same.

The game is still on my to-play list, but I want to try it out. The fantasy art graphics is amazing :cool2:

I love Breath of the Wild. I play it at my bf's house all the time. It's definitely worth buying the switch.

I love BotW because of the open world! The last Zelda Games are not my cup of tea, but BotW brings me back to Zelda.
