Every day I see more and more uploaders posting with non nondescript titles and no pictures - it's pissing me off!! and yet I cannot believe the amount of downloaders there are…..WHY!

We seem to have had a few users come out of the woodwork recently who have uploaded several torrents within a short period of time that fit this description. The problem is that we only have so many people who can only be around to do so much in a day, and it's not always possible to catch these things right away.
That being said, I can assure you that as these things come up, we are taking the appropriate measures (starting with revoking automatic approval of uploads) to ensure that these torrents that generate a plethora of complaints do not continue to go public from these users until we have had a chance to verify that they meet the criteria. At one point this was the norm for all uploads, however the volume of new uploads began to exceed the availability of manpower, which is why things are the way they are now.
Believe me when I say that you are not alone in this frustration, and we are doing everything we can to remedy the situation.

Question: Are you reporting these torrents?
I don't recall seeing your name pop up (as a reporter) in the Reported Torrents Module…? ? ? :blind:
Members will create odd titles to try and evade DMCA, but if they're uploading torrent WITHOUT PICTURES, AND you report these to us...
...I'll tell you we have no hesitation over pulling the Auto-Approval rights for those REPORTED torrents.
That being said, staff wise, we need them reported, since the sheer workload and available time, as unpaid volunteers, doesn't often allow us time or opportunity to just browse the uploads, looking for violations.

I handled those reports. I did revoke the users auto upload privileges.

This is true, almost everyday mods received reports about the descriptions and picture. It's beyond my thinking why some uploading members don't have pics and descriptions. Watch your file(s) that your going to upload, in that way you can describe your upload(s). As for the pics, play your video and almost all players have camera icon in it, click your desired shots and voila, you have pics to upload.

As a user - I'll give the uploader the benefit of the doubt and either comment or PM them that they need pictures and/or descriptions. Most of the time it's a newbie who doesn't know better and that fixes the problem without having to waste Moderator resources.
If it's an asshole trying to scam the system I'll report them. -

Looks like they are downloading those videos from PornHub or XTube or a similar site and reusing the same title the video had and adding for the description, "Name says it all Enjoy!!!"
Can't explain why anyone would download something like that, especially with no photos, but the uploader is probably trying to improve their ratio by uploading small videos without putting much effort into it.
