Just a quick question about the torrents
-
Just quickly, Is it possible to have the resolution of a movie / or clip displayed in the torrent description please? I download based on the size of the torrent and sometimes i find torrents that are the typical size of a 720p scene and it turns out that they are just highly uncompressed .avi files and are 640x360 this drives me wild haha
Some other torrent sites REQUIRE that it be listed on the page or the torrent is deleted.Just a suggestion

I am not against any information being supplied (although sometimes it is more than needed) but please let's have no talk of torrents being deleted because they don't state the resolution.
I have seen too many sites where the staff get heady with power because someone missed out a colon.
I was on one (now defunct) site where my torrent was deleted because the SUBJECT (not the torrent) mistakenly said .mpg instead of .avi.
I never did post a torrent on that site. And if anyone can understand the rules on PassThePopcorn β¦
Let's keep the rules as simple as possible and try to gently persuade others of what is good.
Syria drives me wild, child poverty drives me wild. Poorly labelled torrents are merely an inconvenience

i agree

THAT comment drove me wild with laughter! Haha I definitely agree that the missing info is a mere inconvenience. But - when these menial things are so easily avoidable; I feel it is near ignorance and lazy. If you play a file, it will tell you the resolution. That's all
Also, it is overkill that sites ban users for simple things like a file format mis-hap; I did just state that some sites DO delete torrents and ban users FOR such simple things. I didn't intend to imply that THIS SITE delete or ban however

I agree with that. And throw in not thinking

It's a good suggestion. Although, neither everybody knows how to check resolutions of videos
