Is anyone else a fan of the Michael Lucas Auditions series?I'm a big fan.That's why I got just a tad bit excited a couple of hours ago when I was on the Lucas Entertainment website looking around and saw Bareback Auditions 3 as an upcoming title.I watched the trailer, and while it was still hot, there was something about it that disappointed me.The thing that disappointed me…..all I saw was hot fucking.You're probably thinking "That's a problem?It's porn.That's what you're supposed to see".It's not so much what I saw, but what I didn't see.
For as long as the Auditions series has been around it's, arguably, best part has been the model interviews before the fucking, or atleast it has been to me and I didn't see any of that in the Bareback Auditions trailer.Don't get me wrong.There have, at times, been guys who are dull, or worse....just obnoxious.There have also been some pretty awkward moments.In volume 25:fired on the set, an aptly titled entry, one of the models was being resistant to some of the things Michael Lucas wanted him to do like toe sucking and armpit licking.The guy just wasn't in to it.
It was so awkward that they couldn't finish.You can hear how annoyed the guy was by the whole experience because as he was putting his clothes back on to leave you could hear him saying that it was a "total waste of time, it was horseshit, and he needed to get the fuck out of there" because someone had set the camera down on the night stand by the bed and it was still on and recording.
That to me is what has made the series so great.It's something more real.Now you may be thinking "Why would you want that in your porn?That's not hot".The reason I like it is because the other side of that coin is sometimes when you get to know more about the models and their personalities it can make the fucking in the video even better.They're no longer just some one dimensional sex fantasy, but more like guys.For example, I love Shane Frost.Not only because he's hot, but also because after seeing him in Auditions 44, he seems like a really sweet down-to-earth guy.I also like hearing Max Cameron talk about how he likes that "feeling of being open" after he's just been fucked.LOL
My point with all of this is I hope Lucas Entertainment doesn't abandon what I love about the series, and just makes them purely sex scenes.The company has changed.It hasn't just gone bareback, but the style and tone of the videos have changed also.
