Xbox or Playstation?

Both.
As long as there are exclusive games, then you will need/want both.
Both have their good and bad, as far as hardware and software. Not being a dainty little girl, I love the larger size controller of the Xbox, as an example.

Can't speak for the newer consoles, but whilst the original Xbox was probably the more powerful console, the PS2 had so many exclusives in the day it was definitely the one to choose.

PS2>Xbox1 in terms of games.
Xbox360>PS3PC > XboxOne=PS4. my opinion. Newer consoles underpowered, but have their pros. Maybe Xbox One X will be the beast, but PC is just better now. If you ready to pay more and don't mind this big loud box under the desk.

xbox has such a weird interface.Love consoles for its simplicity that you can't get on computers: you always care of the recent hardware updates, buy new GPUs etc. But computers are made for the work stuff, not gaming.
