In the early days of the internet, the only practical way of accessing the internet was with Internet Explorer and later Netscape (which later became Firefox). Because IE was made by Microsoft, it crashed about every 30 mins. Netscape was much better, only you had to PAY for it. After a short time, instead of paying for a browser, you got it free, and it was paid for by advertising. Since you pretty much have to have a browser to access the internet, one might assume that the big money to be made on the intangible side of the internet was advertising via browsers. But then.. how does FACEBOOK make so damn much money? They would like you to think it was from advertising.. but clearly the browser people have a big advantage in embedding advertising with their browsers. So just how DOES Facebook make money? Nobody talks about this. Rather than me saying it.. I would invite Professor Raphjd to reveal the source of Facebook / Zuckerberg's mega billions. Fuckerberg managed to fill his piggybank with over $45 billion from .. doing WHAT?
