Trump isn't actually Republican or Democrat
-
I know a lot of you hate Trump just because he ran on the Republican ticket, even though you don't realize this is the reason you hate him. You know he has a history of supporting Democrats. The point is, he is for neither party. He is here to drain the swamp, which is infested by both sides. It doesn't make sense to hate him "just because" he ran on the Republican ticket and "just because" you hate Republicans. He's not a politician, he's a Statesman. He's not a Republican, he's a Libertarian. The only reason he ran on the Republican ticket, is because Hillary had the Democratic ticket, and because it would be useless to run as Independent. He is an Independent. He doesn't support Republicans - he knows they're corrupt, he only pretended to be one. He destroyed John McCain and Lindsey Graham. He has no loyalty to that party. And those parties have no loyalty to us. You have to read between the lines and stop with the idea that he works for the Nazis. It isn't True. I'm sorry you haven't been able to grasp this information yet, but you will.

I'm curious what you think about this, since you make these claims so confidently. Do you mind answering a few questions?
What do you think Trump means by "swamp"? What is it about our government that was swamp-like before he was elected?
While making a distinction between what he says and what he does:
What do you think Trump is doing to drain it?
What is Trump doing that makes you believe he has any loyalty to us in a way that other politicians don't?
Don't treat this like a debate where we're both out to cut each other's throats. Pretend I'm an honest skeptic.

I think I can answer most of those questions…
Washington DC is referred to as "The Swamp" because before when it was selected as the spot to put the US Capitol, it was just some nasty wetlands on the Potomac River. It was never a swamp, but it has always been euphemistically referred to as "The Swamp". It is an established nickname that goes back over 200 years. It was land donated by the states of Maryland and Virginia (useless land that they had no use for).
Trump used the nickname "The Swamp" sarcastically. When he said he would "drain it", he didn't mean drain it of water, but drain it of all the murky, creepy, underhanded, vermin that infest it.. meaning the overwhelming presence of ultra-liberal, politically motivated moonbats that put their own agendas ahead of the good of the country and the good of mankind. That is why 97% of the donations from Law Firms went to the Democraps. As I pointed out earlier today.. Law firms / lawyers prime goal is to find ways to GET AROUND the law and use it for their own purposes. This is why virtually all legal documents are written in a non-existent language of "legalese" that honestly the judges and lawyers don't even understand. These laws are written cryptically, leaving them wide-open to interpretation. The lawyer who is more skilled at interpreting laws into bullshit they can present in court typically wins the case. Hillary is an EXPERT at twisting and abusing law to suit her own needs. She could argue that black is white, and night is day.. and WIN the argument! She is extremely deceptive, and a formidable con artist (one who is skilled at instilling a feeling of confidence in others).
A big reason that the people who like Trump give him there loyalty is that Trump has nothing to gain from being president. It really doesn't benefit him in any way, in fact it hurts him personally and financially. He made it clear that he can't be bought nor influenced, and will do what he thinks needs to be done to fix the country. Trump has said many times that he would never run for president UNLESS the country was so screwed up that only someone like him - who is not able to be pushed around, influenced, and bribed - can have the objectivity and ability to fix the problems. Because of the 8 year disaster of Obama, with no candidates worth a damn running for president (Sanders, Hillary, JEB!, Rubio, Kasich, etc.) Trump jumped into the race. Trump was the #1 candidate from the beginning of the 2016 presidential campaign, held that throughout the campaign, and despite the Republican party vehemently objecting to him.. the PEOPLE put him up as the Republican candidate with their staggering support.
Now some moonbat will say "well, not a huge amount of people showed up at the inauguration". That is because Washington DC and Maryland and Virginia are all overwhelmingly liberal moonbats.. far more than any other part of the country. The citizens residing in those areas are not keen on Trump. It was also RAINING which is why former president Bush was making a fool of himself trying to put a rain poncho on with Dick Cheney watching. -

Trump hasn't drained any swamps, if anything, he's just replaced the neo-liberal swamp with a neo-conservative one.

You say that Trump is rich so he can't be bought, however, rich people do love to get richer

"Trump has said many times that he would never run for president UNLESS the country was so screwed up that only someone like him who is not able to be pushed around, influenced, and bribed - can have the objectivity and ability to fix the problems."
Trump is currently being influenced to make decisions that have run counter to his campaign promises. He's being influenced by his daughter, son in law, and others. To believe that one man can change Washington is ridiculous.
The real problem with Trump supporters is that they idolize Trump to the point that they see him as a god or someone who possesses special abilities. He's not a god, he is just a man who's made his wealth in Hollywood and in real estate.
Trump is a salesman and its very apparent his sales pitch was successful.

I was hoping he would be a Democrat posing as a Republican.
Unfortunately it became very clear when he repealed the "fiduciary rule" that he doesn't give a damn about anyone but Wall St.

Shut up :cens:. You didn't actually say anything. All you said was like a baby crying wah wah wah! We LOVE Trump, we don't just think he's "good." We think he's AWESOME! You can't play on degradation of sorts. It won't work. We are one hundred percent behind Trump and will NOT falter. He is freaking amazing and you guys with your Hillary deleting 30K emails AFTER a subpoena are :cens:. There is no way you can degrade him enough to make us follow your antifa crap. You lost at the election, then you played the Russia narrative for 8 months and that got blown out of the water, and you have nothing now. We support Trump and we do NOT support you in any way whatsoever and never will. You can go away and never come back and we will be glad with the state of your retreat.

Is not being tied and controlled by a political party a bad thing?

Not for the same reasons, but still for obvious ones. And I consider Hillary to be a part of that. But I challenge you to make a point, especially about Trump, without mentioning her.
And please, answer the meat of my post. Especially considering your unquestioning loyalty to him. What actions has he taken as president to drain the swamp? Or support his voters? What has he done to deserve you?

Swamp is an ok name, but I prefer slurry pit.
It's full of self interest, pork and all manner of evil.
