Republicans are FAILING despite controlling both houses.

To be fair they actually control all three branches of government and yet they still can't get a healthcare bill passed.

I've been saying this for years. Republicans like ObamaCare. It was written by Conservatives and enacted by a Republican governor. It's a plan that is 100% run by private corporations who compete for customers. The best part for them is that every time something goes wrong they get to blame Democrats! It's a Republicans wet dream.

This is Republicans' high water mark. The next 18 months are as good as it gets for them. I hope they're enjoying everything because this is the top of the mountain, it's just a long slow tumble down after this.
Democrats will retake the house in the mid-terms, it always happens with an unpopular president - every single time. Then it'll be impeachment investigations and nothing else from 2018-2020, every democrat will be investigating something about Trump 24/7. Then an unpopular and wounded president will loose to a Democrat challenger in 2020. Even if he manages to win re-election he'll have a blue congress just like the inverse of Obama's 2nd term.
This is as good as it gets for Republicans. You're 1/4th through the best 2 years you'll see in decades. The clock is ticking, and when liberals take control again we'll have no mercy this time - it'll be like Roosevelt's new deal we're going to change everything. So good luck passing something in the next 18 months, clock is ticking.

I can't wait for dems to win in 2018!

It's a long road to 2018- and I just hope the Democrats manage to get their act together, learn from past mistakes, and really win big. It's the only way things can get back on track.
The big tragedy of the last elections was that Trump got voted in at a time the Republicans controlled both the House ans Senate. And they refuse to choose country over party which is in the words of their dear leader- SAD! :blownose:
