Not so republican… Kasich & McCain
-
There are a handful of republicans who are worse than democrats, in that they fill the spot in Congress or Governor that a REAL republican could occupy, when they are really not republicans at all.
Perhaps the best example of this is John "Hanoi Jane" Kasich. Kasich's hatred for Trump is palpable. The reason is that Kasich had some fantasy that he could have been president.. when in fact, he got almost no support at all, despite never getting out of the race. At least people like Jeb Bush knew when to get out. Then there is John "Looney Tunes" McCain, who is a loose cannon now.. as he always was. For those who don't know, in 1967 McCain crashed 5 jets, plus was responsible for the aircraft carrier Forrestal fire. Something made the plane behind McCain fire a rocket, which hit McCain's external center fuel tank, and caused a fire. McCain panicked, and dropped two bombs into the fire.
Surviving crewmen of the USS Forestal and those who investigated the Forrestal fire case reported that McCain deliberately 'wet-started' his A-4E Skyhawk to shake up the guy in the F-4 Phantom behind his plane.
'Wet-starts', done either deliberately (the starter motor switch allowed kerosene to pool in the engine and give a wet start) or accidentally, shoot a large flame from the tail of the aircraft.'Wet starting' was a common practice among young 'hot-dog' pilots.
In McCain's case, the 'wet-start''cooked off' and launched the M34 Zuni rocket from the rear F-4 that punctured the Skyhawk's fueltank, knocked the M-65 1000 lb bomb off it's 500 lb rated mount, and touched off the explosions and massive fire. When the carrier Oriskany came along side, and McCain was put in a chopper and whisked away. McCain was the only Forrestal crewman to be immediately transferred .I have a hunch McCain left for his own safety, because the crew wanted blood.

When you said Kasich, I literally had a blank, and had to look him up to remember who he was. Wow. I can't believe I forgot. McCain is like who cares, didn't read the rest, he's a dirty scumbag.

They can't help that their party has moved so far to the right that they cannot in good conscience move with it. At least John Kasich cared enough about the people of his state to expand Medicaid so that over 700,000 hard working Americans could get health care coverage, and so many small town hospitals wouldn't have to close across Ohio; which is happening in states like North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. I guess having a heart and a soul makes you "worse than Democrats" if you're a Republican. Let's see how much Ohio likes Agent Orange when he signs a repeal snatching their health insurance from those 700,000 people who would otherwise be uncovered.
As for John McCain, never really been a fan but if he's finally going to put country before party then I can support that. I'm sure he knows the overwhelming majority of Americans did not want this. Low turnout in 2010 and 2014 got us here, not people overwhelmingly turning out to vote Republican. Of course, no one really wanted Hillary either but they also didn't want Agent Orange and he won; therefore, Republicans are in a tough place right now. Can't say my partisan side isn't elated at the moment  Good luck with governing Republicans.
