Trump said this in his inauguration speech:

"Chief Justice Roberts, President Carter, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, fellow Americans, and people of the world: Thank you."

Who are these "people of the world" he is thanking?  The Russians?  I don't know what to make of this statement…....

You have to concede that, this is the U.S presidential election that garnered the most interest from the outside world. So maybe it comes from there.

Not to mention that Trump thrives in media, with either good or bad publicity.  He might be the U.S President right now, but this extra media attention will surely benefit his (former-but-now-run-by-his-sons) company's businesses around the world.

After all, you gotta keep your brand ringing inside people's heads.

It's just a saying here in the US when you're not good with words.

I'm more concerned, that part of his speech were direct quotes from Bane, the villain in the last Batman movie.

Take that however you like.  😞  And his children may run his company but he did not divest himself, that's a huge problem and conflict of interest. Theoretically, he could trigger his removal or impeachment if he's caught using Presidential influence to promote his business. The phrase "Constitutional Crisis" has been used but it's not really a crisis, there's a clause that Mike Pence becomes President in that event, and he's incredibly anti-LGBTQ but possibly better with diplomacy internationally than Trump.
