        In everyday life, yes. As a fetish? I think it can be sexy.

          I'm very sensitive to cigarette smoke, to the point where I can smell a cigarette being smoked from several rooms away, or even in another apartment of a residence.  The smell of a person who smokes reminds me of an ashtray, while I certainly prefer those whom smell fresh and clean.  But not only is it a turn-off for me in person, but even when I view a picture/video of a handsome man online, if I see a pack of cigarettes anywhere within the frame, not to mention actually in his hand, I immediately lose interest and move on to the next.  It even bothers me when walking down the street, for someone to be smoking while walking up ahead.  It just feels to me as if they are spewing this toxic gas with no regard for those around them.

          That being said, I have known some wonderful people who have smoked nearly their entire lives, and have also known a few who have died as a result of having done so.  Ironically, I often encourage those who really enjoy smoking to just continue doing so, although preferably, not around me.

            It's very much a turn off, but the smell isn't the problem.  The problem is the taste.  I can always tell if a guy is a smoker if I kiss them.  I HATE the ashy taste that smokers always seem to have when I kiss them, and it's always there, no matter how much earlier in the day they had their last cigarette.

              Taste, smell, everything is horrible with smoking. But it depends on the person. A non smoker will find smoking bad and all, but a smoker might be ok with it…

                  It's an instant turn off for me. I've had people in my family die of cancer because they were smokers, and I can't stand how the smell stays on  me when people smoke in the same room I'm in. I think it's something of another era almost, and wonder if smokers realize they are slowly killing themselves. That's why I think it's silly. It's the antithesis of cool.

                    Smoking is an instant turn off for me, its smells awful, their clothes and body smell of stale smoke, and it's like snogging an astray (not that I have snogged an ashtray :P)

                      Not so much a turn off for me but since I smoked for seven years myself I know that if I were to date a smoker I'd go right back to smoking myself so I just couldn't do it.

                          Even though I've been raised in a family of smokers and I've been loathing smoke from an early age I admit that sometimes videos where people smoke float my boat. I don't have a smoke fetish, mind that, and I really dislike smokers to the point that it could kill a date but if it doesn't affect me in a direct way I find it sort of pleasing.

                            I occassionally tend to take a few puffs of a cigarette if I'm out drinking with friends that smoke. That being said I would never go and smoke a few cigarettes in one go or get to the point where I got addicted to them. I also would never date a guy that habitually smokes cigarettes because I have a big oral fixation. I wouldn't want to be with a guy whose cum tastes horrible, and that's what habitual smoking does.

                            So if you like getting blowjobs (and let's face it, who doesn't) you should consider what effects certain habits have on the taste of your cum, and the impact it has on your health as a whole. Another reason I wouldn't date a guy who smokes is because their stamina in bed tends to be much worse than non-smokers. Nothing more unattractive than a guy who gets winded when he's otherwise in good shape. Also, long term smoking has an impact on your circulatory system, which means problems with blood flow… so if you're OK with ED setting in at an earlier age than usual keep puffing away.

                            Now, for the non sexual impact of smoking. I wouldn't date a smoker because everything they come in contact with ends up smelling like an ashtray; and carrying over the effects on stamina I like to be able to go out and dance or go for a run with my guy, so what good is a smoker if they have to stop every 20 minutes or so because they need to take a breather because their lungs suck. Also, I wouldn't like cigarette breaks interfering with plans. Do you know how annoying it is to go out with someone, when every 20, 30, or 40 minutes they feel the urge to step outside to smoke because they're addicted to cigarettes. To me that's like being in a more committed relationship with smoking than it is with me. Hahaha.

                                @asimpleman:

                                Smoking is a turn off, especially electronic cigarettes.

                                Why especially e-cigs?

                                I can't see why anyone should have a problem with them. They don't smell and don't carry any known health risks.

                                For those who simply enjoy the act of smoking it's an acceptable substitute with none of the negative downsides.

                                          Smoker here, and I don't care if you smoke or don't. It can be somewhat erotic as well.

                                            I smoke myself, so by association, it's not a turn-off. It's actually a turn on.
