    UTorrent's star ratings dissapeared

      First off, I'm sorry if this is not the right place to make this topic, I'm not sure where it goes

      Two days ago when I opened my uTorrent to seed I noticed the Ratings section was missing for all my torrents! It was the place where you could rate torrents 1-5 stars, and I used that to keep track of which torrents I had watched, because I would rate them afterwards. I have right-clicked the bar at the top with the other categories (#, Name, Status, etc) but there isn't even an option to view the ratings either! Where did they go?  ???

        I've never actually used that. But there is alsoa rating tab available in the bottom pane. Do you have that.

        I am using uTorrent 3.0 and 'Ratings' is there in both panes. Which version are you using and do you use automatic updates?

          I'm not 100% sure what you mean by 'bottom pane.' If you mean the 'Detailed Info' (I usually have that minimized, so I opened it from Options>Show Detailed Info) then no, I don't see a rating tab there either  😞

          I have uTorrent 3.4.7 and I do have automatic updates on, but I also have it set to notify me before installing updates. I didn't get any notification about any updates, so I didn't think it was that, but now I'm not sure

            A snapshot of my uTorrent showing both panes with 'Ratings' column.

            I only asked about the update because uTorrent (like a lot of others) has a habit of changing things, not always for the better (Firefox, I mean you)

              Here's what mine looks like, and I took the screenshot with the drop-down menu open to show the options - ratings isn't there  😞

                If they did remove the ratings in an update, that's really disappointing! I tried to find out if it was a bug or if they just removed the feature (I have no idea why they would, if they already added it, but who knows?) but my Google skills are not good enough - I get unrelated articles. Maybe I'll have to get an older version, and turn off updates

                  I can't find any specific mention on a quick search but there have been mentions of problems on the uTorrent forum https://forum.utorrent.com/

                  They have obviously changed something between my version and your version. I might ask on another site to see if anyone has a similar finding
