Titanic - First Acconts. It's a non-fiction book with some of the first and most famous first-hand testemonies from survivors of the sinking of the Titanic. I'm a voracious reader of Titanic-related stuff  😛

Re-reading the Czech classic "The Good Soldier Švejk" by Jaroslav Hašek (yeah, the Czechs can make a name for themselves in something other than porn) (though, I must say, they were a pretty slutty part of Austria-Hungary's army in World War I).

I know just a little about traumatic brain injury, shell shock, and other horrors of war. Long live Švejk, Joseph Heller's Yossarian, and other good soldiers!

A Prelude to Dune - House Harkonnen (again) I do like a big, involved story.

Once Were Warriors - Alan Duff, a classic New Zealand novel about Maori life in NZ. There's also a film based on it. It's pretty heavy going.
