Is there a way to fist someone without making or seeing a "rosebud"? I know some men find them very hot to see/make but I personally do not, and neither does a friend of mine who is a top who has done fisting safely to a man before. He told me how it takes a long time to get someone ready to take a fist/arm.

I've been fisting for 35 years and have seen rosebuds on perhaps 10% of the occasions I've played. It's usually intentional, or a case of the gut spasming and the bottom not having been properly trained in how to control it, or a badly trained top triggering an uncontrollable spasm.
There's a hell of a lot of finesse to fisting that you just can't ever see in porn movies because there's no way to film it. Shame that the skills to do it well are being lost.
No, rosebuds aren't a necessity at all. It's just a matter of the bottom not doing it intentionally, and both sides truly understanding what they're doing.

Ive been taking a fist for about 5 years or so and I have yet to blossom into a rosebud (unfortunately)
maybe one of these days when the stars align and a good fisting top is on duty…. -
