That depends on what type of reality you favour and how real you want to get.
I have never seen The Kardashian Show (or the new I Was Bruce Jenner shindig) but I do obsess over Downton Abbey. Another Period is a spoof on reality TV set in the same era as Downton Abbey and it is hilarious. Christina Hendricks (Joan of Mad Men) plays a maid slash whore who is called "Chair" by the owners of the manor. Paget Brewster is Dodo the matriarch of the family who is addicted to morphine and sucking the butler's cock when she's whacked out. The gay characters are hilarious, putting pillows over their wives face when procreating (also knocking them out with ether and sucking the hunky under butler's fingers while doing it). They even for a time seem to have the power to convert John Ritter's son Jason's character into believing he is a homosexual with the help of some 1920's style pharmaceuticals & poppers.
The second episode wins the award for funniest rape joke ever because it is one long riff on rape culture only they call it "ravishing" as opposed to actual rape and it happens to a male character. "Did you hear that one: Why is it always the friend least likely to be ravished that goes on and on about it?" and "You can't be ravished, you are a man" and the 'tampon ad' like stupor the poor gentleman who was ravished exists in. Then another male is ravished, falls in love with his ravisher and she leaves him he teaches his sister how to finger his ass. Yup there is incest too.
Every single performer is one you'll recognize as "Hey wasn't she on Big Bang Theory for that episode where…."
However if a funny upsend of reality isn't what your after, Survivor just started and isn't that started us on this slippery slope of not paying for writers? Drag Race really is one of the better reality shows even without the gay slant. Austin Armacost from the cast of "The A List"
! just came in second on Celebrity Big Brother I've never seen the A List but I do remember when it came out and that he was dating Marc Jacobs around that time. His husband is crazy hot and you do get to him a couple times.
My guilty passion for reality is always hands down documentaries on World War 1, do you know how many theories there are on how that mess got started? As many books as there are on the subject.
I think I've held the talking stick too long again, pardon me.

I like The People's Couch on Bravo! and The Amazing Race on CBS is always an easy way to spend an hour in front of the television. I enjoy Face Off on SyFy as well.
